The challenge
Availability and long response times are today the biggest challenge that most people who deliver some form of service via the internet have. It is easy to lose a customer if the response times are too long or if it is not possible to get in touch with, for example, an e-commerce platform. Today, the customer is quicker to make a decision to change supplier and it often happens before you as an ISP discover your problem. Whether you have and offer an MPSL network, mobile backhaul, a new NFV/SD WAN infrastructure, e-commerce platform or a virtualized data center, there are solutions for this.
The solution
SevOne Performance Appliance Solution (PAS) is the platform that we have chosen because it is probably the market’s most flexible, scalable and functional product for the purpose. An important part of a performance solution is that there are ready-made integrations (APIs) and processes to be able to handle all the components of a modern digital environment. The system has ready connections to many suppliers such as F5, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Ericsson both for the hardware and for the new type of SDN/SD-WAN controllers and provisioning processes. A modern Performance Management tool must have functionality and integrations ready to handle all types of virtual platforms such as Docker, OpenStack, etc. but also ready-made integrations to external cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, etc.
