The electricity company Ellevio has signed an agreement with Telia and Cygate to connect around 8,000 stations with a completely new data communication network. The agreement extends over 10 years.
The infrastructure that Telia and Cygate will deliver includes Network Management System and network equipment. The new data communication network will be used to connect all stations in the electricity network to Ellevio’s own data center.
Compose IT, which is a subcontractor to Telia and Cygate, will deliver the case management system that is part of the NMS solution to the new data communication network.
Göran Cottin, Bid Manager at Cygate says: “We chose to hire Compose IT as a subcontractor because they have high competence in Network Management systems and our experience is that they are both committed and easy to work with”.
– We are very happy to be involved as a subcontractor to Telia and Cygate vis-a-vis Ellevio. What we will deliver is, in addition to a case management system, also integration competence to connect the monitoring systems with the case management for the new data communication network, something that is in line with our core areas, says Compose IT’s CEO Jonny Sigemo.
