The electricity network company Ellevio has signed an agreement with Telia and Cygate to connect around 8,000 stations with an entirely new data communications network. The agreement spans 10 years.
The infrastructure that Telia and Cygate will provide includes, among other things, a Network Management System and network equipment. The new data communications network will be used to connect all the stations in the electricity grid to Ellevio’s own data centers.
Compose IT, a subcontractor to Telia and Cygate, will deliver the ticketing system, which is part of the NMS solution for the new data communications network.
Göran Cottin, Bid Manager at Cygate, states: “We chose to hire Compose IT as a subcontractor because they have a high level of expertise in Network Management Systems, and our experience is that they are both committed and easy to collaborate with.”
“We are very pleased to be involved as a subcontractor to Telia and Cygate for Ellevio. In addition to delivering a ticketing system, we will also provide integration expertise to connect the monitoring systems with the ticketing system for the new data communications network, which aligns with our core areas,” explains Compose IT’s CEO Jonny Sigemo.
